About the Speaker
Heather Boyd is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Specialist in Weight Management and Obesity, and a Certified Diabetes Educator from Frederick Memorial Hospital’s Medical Weight Loss Program in Frederick, Maryland. She has 22 of experience as a dietitian, and has been specializing in weight management for 17 of those years. She was in the first group of practitioners to sit for the exam to become a Board Certified Specialist in Weight Management and Obesity by the CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration). Heather’s experience has taught her that empathy combined with an individualized and detailed approach to weight management can drastically improve patient retention and compliance.
